Unsere Tipps für Ihre Bewerbung

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Highlight any previous driving or delivery experience at the top of your CV — the advert explicitly positions the driver as 'the face of Tesco out on the road', so customer-facing delivery experience is central.

2

📊 Quantify your delivery experience: e.g. 'Completed 25–30 customer drops per shift across a 40-mile radius with zero missed deliveries over 6 months'.

3

🎯 Mention your valid UK driving licence prominently — without it you cannot be considered, so place it in your Personal Statement or a dedicated 'Licences & Certifications' section.

4

🤝 Emphasise experience working independently but within a team structure, as the advert stresses operating solo on the road while reporting back to base managers.

5

🌐 Reference any experience with shift or flexible working patterns (evenings, weekends) to match the advertised availability windows of Sunday, Thursday, and Friday evenings.

Exemples de réponses STAR

Réponses modèles avec la méthode Situation-Tâche-Action-Résultat. À adapter à votre vécu.

1Question

Tell me about a time you delivered excellent customer service in a pressured or time-sensitive situation.

Situation: During a busy Friday evening shift at my previous delivery job, our route software crashed mid-round, leaving me with 12 remaining drops and no digital map. Task: I needed to complete all deliveries within the two-hour customer window without missing anyone. Action: I pulled up the customer address list on my phone, grouped the remaining drops by postcode, and used Google Maps to rebuild the route manually. I also called ahead to two customers who lived furthest away to manage their expectations. Result: I completed all 12 drops on time, received a 5-star rating from 9 of those customers, and flagged the software issue to my manager so it could be escalated to IT before the next shift.
2Question

Tell me about a time you managed your workload effectively without direct supervision.

Situation: As a delivery driver covering a rural area, I regularly operated 30 miles from the depot with no supervisor on hand. Task: On one occasion I had 34 drops to complete, including 6 customers requiring assisted carry-in of heavy items, all within a 4-hour window. Action: I reorganised my van load at the start of the shift to group the assisted-carry drops geographically, saving 25 minutes of backtracking. I also prioritised customers who had indicated time restrictions in their delivery notes. Result: I finished the round 15 minutes ahead of schedule, with zero failed deliveries and a customer satisfaction score of 4.9 out of 5 for that round.
