Unsere Tipps für Ihre Bewerbung

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Highlight your valid UK driving licence prominently at the top of your CV, as the advert's core requirement is road-based delivery for Tesco.

2

📊 Quantify your delivery experience: e.g. 'Completed 25–30 customer drops per shift across a 40-mile radius with zero missed deliveries over 6 months'.

3

🎯 Emphasise evening and weekend availability explicitly in your Personal Statement, as the advertised windows are 18:00–23:00 Monday–Saturday.

4

🤝 Mention any experience working independently on the road — the advert stresses drivers operate largely unsupervised, so self-management is valued.

5

🌐 Reference any experience with handheld devices or delivery apps (e.g. route optimisation tools), as modern grocery delivery relies on in-cab technology.

1Question

Tell me about a time you delivered outstanding service to a customer who was struggling or needed extra assistance.

Situation: During a home delivery shift, I arrived at the address of an elderly customer who lived alone on the third floor of a block with no lift. Task: My role was simply to deliver the groceries to the door, but it was clear she would struggle to carry four heavy bags inside. Action: I asked her permission, carried all four bags into her kitchen, and took a moment to check the delivery was correct and complete. I also flagged her address to my depot so future drivers could be aware. Result: She called the depot to compliment the service, and my supervisor mentioned it in the next team briefing. The extra five minutes cost nothing but made a genuine difference.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to manage a high-pressure workload independently and how you stayed organised.

Situation: During a busy Friday evening shift in December, two colleagues called in sick, and I was assigned 34 drops instead of my usual 24, covering an unfamiliar area. Task: I needed to complete all deliveries within the two-hour time slots customers had booked. Action: I re-sequenced my route using the in-cab app to cluster nearby addresses, prioritised the earliest time slots first, and called the depot after drop 20 to flag I was running 12 minutes behind so they could notify the final customers. Result: I completed 32 of 34 deliveries on time; the two late deliveries were within 15 minutes of the slot, and no customer complaints were logged that evening.
