Unsere Tipps für Ihre Bewerbung
5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.
⭐ Lead your CV with a Personal Statement that explicitly names 'Mechanical Fitter' and 'mechanical assembly' — the advert uses these terms throughout and ATS systems will scan for exact matches.
📊 Quantify your assembly output: e.g. 'Assembled 20+ sub-assemblies per shift to BS tolerances, achieving a 99% first-pass quality rate across a 6-month production run'.
🎯 Dedicate a 'Key Skills' section to drilling, tapping, and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier callipers) — the advert lists these as core duties, so naming specific tools strengthens your application.
🔧 Include a bullet on your experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, referencing the types of documentation (e.g. GD&T, 2D CAD drawings, BOM sheets) to demonstrate technical literacy.
🤝 Highlight any experience flagging design or material issues to engineers — the advert specifically calls out 'highlight any design, material, or assembly issues', so evidence of proactive quality communication will differentiate your CV.

3 bullets générés par notre IA pour cette offre, alignés sur ses mots-clés ATS.
Ajoutez ces 3 bullets sous votre expérience la plus récente :
- •Assembled and tested 15+ mechanical sub-assemblies per week to engineering drawing specifications, maintaining a first-pass acceptance rate of 98% over a 12-month production period.
- •Carried out drilling, tapping, and dimensional verification using micrometers and vernier callipers on precision-machined components, reducing tolerance non-conformances by 30% within 6 months.
- •Identified a recurring material defect in supplier-provided castings during in-process inspection, raising a formal non-conformance report that prevented 40 faulty units from reaching final assembly.

Aperçu — adapté à Futures
Dear Hiring Manager,
Futures' search for a Mechanical Fitter to join a growing Leeds manufacturing team is a role that maps directly onto my hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and precision measurement. Having spent several years working from engineering drawings to build sub-assemblies and carry out in-process inspections, I am confident I can contribute to quality and production targets from day one.
My background in mechanical fitting includes regular use of drilling and tapping techniques, precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and vernier callipers, and a range of hand and power tools in busy workshop environments. I have a consistent record of identifying assembly or material issues early and communicating them to engineering teams, which has helped reduce rework and keep production schedules on track.
