Unsere Tipps für Ihre Bewerbung

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Highlight any previous warehouse, distribution centre or logistics experience at the top of your CV — the advert specifically calls out picking accuracy and fast-paced DC environments.

2

📊 Quantify your picking performance: e.g. 'Picked 350+ orders per shift with 99.8% accuracy across ambient and chilled zones'.

3

🎯 Mention any handheld terminal (HHT/RF scanner) experience explicitly, as the advert lists this as a core daily tool.

4

🏭 If you hold an LLOP or FLT licence, place this prominently — the advert flags training opportunities on these, so existing certification is a clear differentiator.

5

🛡️ Include a brief line confirming your willingness to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, as this is a mandatory requirement stated in the advert.

1Question

Tell me about a time you had to meet a tight deadline in a physically demanding role — what did you do?

Situation: During a peak pre-Christmas period at a food distribution centre, our team was 3 operatives short due to sickness, yet we still had 1,800 lines to pick before the 1pm cut-off. Task: As the most experienced picker on shift, I took responsibility for coordinating the remaining 8 colleagues across zones. Action: I reorganised our pick routes to eliminate aisle clashes, prioritised chilled lines first to protect product integrity, and communicated progress updates every 30 minutes. Result: We completed 1,760 lines by 12:45pm — a 97.8% fulfilment rate — with zero picking errors flagged by the despatch team. The shift manager formally recognised the team's effort in the post-shift briefing.
2Question

Describe a situation where you identified a safety hazard at work and how you dealt with it.

Situation: Midway through an AM shift at a busy ambient warehouse, I noticed a pallet had been placed partially blocking a fire exit — a clear breach of our health and safety policy. Task: It was my responsibility to act immediately without waiting for a supervisor, as the exit needed to be clear at all times. Action: I stopped my picking task, relocated the pallet to the correct bay using a pump truck, and reported the incident to the shift manager, logging it in the near-miss register. I also raised it at the next team briefing to prevent recurrence. Result: The site implemented a daily fire-exit check as part of the pre-shift walkround, and no further blockages were recorded over the following 4 months.
