Dear Hiring Manager,
Tradewind Recruitment's vacancy for an Attendance Officer at your Watford secondary school aligns directly with the work I find most rewarding: using attendance data analysis and targeted intervention to reduce persistent absence and keep vulnerable students engaged in education. The combination of whole-school monitoring, safeguarding responsibilities, and direct family liaison described in the role is where I have focused my career to date.
My background in school-based pastoral and attendance support has equipped me with hands-on experience producing attendance reports, identifying absence trends across large cohorts, and coordinating with local authority and social care teams to resolve complex welfare cases. I am confident working within statutory guidance frameworks and maintaining accurate records that support school census returns and compliance processes.
