Nos conseils pour postuler
5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.
⭐ Lead your Personal Statement with your PQE level and litigation specialism — the advert explicitly targets NQ-4 PQE candidates, so state your qualification year and call date within the first two lines.
📊 Quantify your caseload: e.g. "Managed 40+ active litigation files simultaneously, including 12 breach of contract matters resolved pre-trial" to demonstrate capacity and breadth.
🎯 Explicitly reference Civil Procedure Rules competence in your CV skills section — the advert lists CPR as a core requirement, so name it directly rather than burying it in job descriptions.
🌐 Highlight any in-house or cross-functional advisory experience — the role requires advising internal stakeholders, so evidence of translating legal risk into commercial guidance will differentiate you.
🤝 Include a line on external counsel and insurer liaison if applicable — the advert specifically calls this out, and in-house roles value candidates who can manage external relationships cost-effectively.

Dear Hiring Manager,
The In-House Litigation Solicitor position at the organisation represented by Michael Page Legal is precisely the role my practice has been building towards. With hands-on experience in Civil Procedure Rules, breach of contract claims, and data protection matters, I am confident I can contribute to your in-house legal team from day one.
My background in litigation has seen me manage mixed pre and post-litigation caseloads, advising stakeholders on risk exposure while drafting correspondence and legal documents to a high standard. I have liaised with external counsel and insurers to coordinate strategy on contested matters, and I am comfortable translating complex legal risk into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal colleagues across a business.
