Aperçu — adapté à Tradewind Recruitment
Dear Hiring Manager,
Tradewind Recruitment's Teaching Assistant vacancy within Blackburn's Alternative Provision stood out to me immediately. Supporting young people with SEMH needs and ADHD through 1:1 and small group work, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies, is precisely the kind of meaningful, relationship-led role I have been seeking. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am committed to a full-time, Monday-to-Friday schedule for the duration of the 12-month contract.
My background in working with vulnerable young people has equipped me with the resilience, patience, and communication skills this role demands. I have experience building trusting relationships with disengaged individuals, adapting my approach to meet diverse emotional and academic needs, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams — including teachers and support staff — to deliver consistent, nurturing care.
