1Question

Tell us about a time when you had to learn something complex at your own pace. How did you stay motivated and ensure you understood the material?

During my CompTIA Network+ training, I struggled initially with subnetting and CIDR notation. Rather than give up, I set a structured schedule — 2 hours each evening and 4 hours on weekends — and worked through 12 practice labs before moving on. When I hit a wall on VLAN configuration, I rewatched the tutorial and then built a home lab with virtual machines to practise hands-on. That persistence paid off: I scored 89% on the exam and now feel confident explaining network segmentation in interviews. The key was breaking the complex topic into smaller, testable chunks and applying them immediately in a lab environment.
2Question

This programme guarantees job placement or your fees back. How does that commitment motivate you, and what will you do to ensure you're job-ready by the end?

The job guarantee is powerful because it aligns ITOL Recruit's success with mine — they're invested in my placement, not just my completion. That motivates me to treat the programme like a real job: I'll attend every live lab, complete all 40+ exercises, and aim for 85%+ on each certification exam. Beyond the curriculum, I'll build a portfolio of 3–4 hands-on projects (e.g. a home lab SOC setup, a vulnerability scan report) to show employers I've gone beyond the minimum. I'll also engage fully with the recruitment support team early — updating my LinkedIn, practising interview scenarios, and asking for feedback on my CV — so that by week 10, I'm actively interviewing, not scrambling to get job-ready at the last minute.
