Nos conseils pour postuler

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Lead your CV with a Personal Statement that explicitly names 'picking and packing', 'stock accuracy' and 'warehouse management systems' — the advert lists these as core daily duties.

2

📊 Quantify your warehouse experience: e.g. 'Processed 200+ orders per shift with 99.8% pick accuracy across a 15,000 sq ft warehouse'.

3

🎯 If you hold a forklift counterbalance licence, place it prominently in a 'Licences & Certifications' section — the advert flags it as desirable and it will differentiate you from other applicants.

4

🚗 Mention your full UK driving licence explicitly in your CV header or profile, as the advert specifically requires it due to the rural Chalgrove location (OX44).

5

🏭 Tailor your work history bullets to reference spare parts, despatch, or returns processing environments if applicable — the role is within a spare parts despatch operation, so sector-relevant experience will stand out.

Exemples de réponses STAR

Réponses modèles avec la méthode Situation-Tâche-Action-Résultat. À adapter à votre vécu.

1Question

Tell me about a time you identified a stock error and how you resolved it.

Situation: During a routine afternoon replenishment run at my previous warehouse role, I noticed that 48 units of a fast-moving component had been booked into the wrong bin location, which meant live orders were showing as unfulfillable. Task: I needed to correct the location data in the WMS and physically relocate the stock before the 3pm transport cut-off. Action: I flagged the discrepancy to my supervisor immediately, updated the bin location in the system, moved the stock with a pump truck, and re-scanned each unit to confirm accuracy. I also added a note to the inbound checklist to prevent the same error recurring. Result: All 12 affected orders were picked and dispatched on time, and the location error rate on that product line dropped to zero over the following month.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to manage a high volume of orders under time pressure — how did you stay accurate?

Situation: In the run-up to a seasonal peak at my previous employer, daily order volumes increased from roughly 150 to over 280 lines per shift with no additional headcount. Task: I had to maintain our usual 99% pick accuracy while hitting the same dispatch cut-off times. Action: I reorganised my pick route to reduce travel time by grouping orders by aisle, double-checked quantities at the packing bench rather than at the pick face, and communicated proactively with the despatch team when I was running close to cut-off. I also helped two newer colleagues refine their routes. Result: We achieved 98.7% accuracy across the 3-week peak period and met every transport collection on time, which the warehouse manager highlighted in the team briefing.
