Management Accountant

Distinct are working with a large, multi-entity finance function who are looking to hire a Management Accountant to take ownership of accounting across a complex, international business structure.

This is a hands-on controllership role. You'll be responsible for month-end close, journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, all delivered to tight reporting deadlines.

The team operates at scale with a genuine focus on process improvement and automation. You'll be expected to identify inefficiencies and work collaboratively to fix them

Salary & Benefits:

• £45,000 - £55,000 DOE.

Role Overview:

• Month-end accounting and journal preparation across multiple entities.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues arising.
• Liaison with internal and external auditors.
• Stakeholder reporting and engagement with senior finance and operational leads.

About You/Job Requirements

• Qualified accountant — ACA, ACCA or CIMA.

• Strong Excel and systems skills.

• Comfortable working to deadlines and managing upward.

• Newly or recently qualified candidates looking to build corporate finance experience at scale are encouraged to apply
