Our tips for applying

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Highlight any prior warehouse or distribution centre experience at the top of your CV, as the advert specifically seeks operatives familiar with pick-and-pack and stock management.

3

🎯 Mention any LLOP or FLT licences you hold, as the advert explicitly flags these as opportunities offered on-site — having them already is a clear differentiator.

1Question

Tell me about a time you had to meet a tight deadline in a warehouse or logistics role — how did you manage it?

Situation: During a peak pre-Christmas period at a regional distribution centre, our team was 2 operatives short on a night shift with 480 orders to fulfil before a 4am dispatch cut-off. Task: As one of the more experienced pickers, I needed to help close the gap without compromising accuracy. Action: I reorganised my pick route to reduce aisle crossover, communicated with the team leader to redistribute the highest-volume zones, and focused on the chilled section first as it had the tightest temperature window. Result: The team completed all 480 orders by 3:45am with a 98.7% accuracy rate, and no dispatch was missed. The shift manager noted the approach in the team briefing the following evening.
2Question

Describe a situation where you identified a health and safety risk on the warehouse floor. What did you do?

Situation: While working a night shift in a freezer zone, I noticed a pallet had been stacked unevenly near a main LLOP aisle, creating a potential tip hazard. Task: I needed to address it immediately without disrupting the flow of picking activity around me. Action: I cordoned off the area using the nearest safety cone, reported it to the shift supervisor within 5 minutes, and helped restabilise the pallet using the correct manual handling technique with a colleague. Result: The hazard was resolved within 15 minutes with no injury or incident report required. The site manager used it as a positive example in the next toolbox talk, reinforcing the importance of proactive reporting.
