I nostri consigli per candidarsi

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Lead your CV's personal statement with explicit commercial property experience — the advert lists it as the primary requirement, so name specific transaction types (leases, acquisitions, disposals) within the first three lines.

2

📊 Quantify your caseload: e.g. 'Managed a caseload of 40+ concurrent commercial property files, including 12 lease renewals and 8 freehold acquisitions in 2023.'

3

🎯 Mirror the advert's language precisely — use 'commercial property transactions', 'acquisitions', 'disposals', and 'development projects' as section headings or bullet keywords to pass ATS screening.

4

📝 Showcase document drafting skills with specifics: 'Drafted and reviewed 30+ commercial leases, licences to assign, and heads of terms for retail and industrial clients.'

5

🤝 Include a brief line on client and solicitor liaison experience, as the advert explicitly requires stakeholder communication — mention the types of parties you have coordinated with (lenders, agents, local authorities).

1Question

Tell me about a time you managed competing deadlines across multiple property files simultaneously — how did you prioritise?

Situation: During a particularly busy quarter at my previous firm, I was simultaneously handling 28 active commercial property files, with three completions scheduled within the same week. Task: I needed to ensure all three transactions completed on time without errors, while keeping the remaining files progressing. Action: I created a daily priority matrix, flagging each file by completion date and outstanding requirements. I contacted all relevant solicitors and lenders two days ahead to confirm they had everything needed, and I batched administrative tasks each morning to protect focused drafting time in the afternoon. Result: All three completions proceeded on the scheduled dates with no requisitions raised, and client feedback on two of the transactions was passed to the partner as commendation.
2Question

Describe a situation where you identified an error in a legal document before it caused a problem. What did you do?

Situation: While reviewing a draft commercial lease for a retail unit in advance of exchange, I noticed the permitted use clause had been copied from a previous file and referenced a different property class, which would have restricted the tenant's intended trading activity. Task: The exchange was scheduled for the following morning, so I needed to act quickly without alarming the client. Action: I flagged the discrepancy immediately to the supervising solicitor with a marked-up version of the clause and a suggested redraft based on the agreed heads of terms. I also contacted the landlord's solicitors to request a short extension to exchange. Result: The corrected lease was agreed and exchanged within 24 hours, avoiding a potential breach of the agreed terms and saving the client an estimated £3,500 in renegotiation costs.
