I nostri consigli per candidarsi

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Lead your CV personal statement with your valid UK driving licence and clean record, as the advert explicitly requires a full licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.

2

📊 Quantify your delivery or customer-facing experience: e.g. 'Completed 25+ doorstep deliveries per shift with a 98% on-time rate' to demonstrate reliability against Tesco's time slot requirement.

3

🎯 Highlight any experience handling order changes, substitutions, or customer complaints, as the advert specifically calls out communicating shortages and processing refunds at the doorstep.

4

🤝 Mention experience working independently on the road while reporting back to a base team, mirroring the advert's description of solo driving with a supportive store team.

5

🚐 Include any van or LGV driving experience, vehicle safety checks, or load management tasks — the advert stresses loading safely and completing roadworthy checks before every shift.

1Question

Tell me about a time you delivered excellent customer service in a face-to-face or doorstep situation.

Situation: While working as a delivery driver for a local grocery firm, I arrived at a customer's address to find an elderly resident who was visibly distressed because three items in her order were missing. Task: I needed to resolve her concern quickly while still completing the remaining 22 deliveries on my route. Action: I calmly explained the substitutions available, processed a refund on the spot for the unavailable item using the handheld device, and carried her bags to the kitchen. I also flagged her account for a priority redelivery the following morning. Result: She called the depot to praise the interaction, and my manager shared her feedback with the whole team. I maintained a 4.9-star customer rating that month.
2Question

Describe a time when you had to adapt quickly to an unexpected change while working independently.

Situation: Midway through a 28-stop delivery shift, my sat-nav lost signal in a rural area and two consecutive addresses had incorrect postcodes on the manifest. Task: I had to reroute independently without delaying the remaining 18 customers' time slots. Action: I pulled over safely, cross-referenced the paper address list with a maps app on my phone, identified the correct streets within four minutes, and adjusted the remaining route order to recover eight minutes of lost time. Result: All 28 deliveries were completed within their allocated slots, and I reported the postcode errors to the depot coordinator so the data could be corrected before the next day's runs.
