I nostri consigli per candidarsi

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Lead your CV with a Personal Statement that explicitly names 'wholesale merchandising' and 'trading analysis' — the advert lists these as core to the role and they are prime ATS filter terms.

2

📊 Quantify your stock management impact: e.g. 'Managed replenishment across 8 wholesale accounts, reducing overstock by 22% in Q3 2024' to demonstrate the commercial mindset the advert specifically calls out.

3

🎯 Dedicate a bullet point to pre and post-buy analysis experience, as the advert highlights range effectiveness evaluation as a key responsibility — show you understand the full buy cycle.

4

🌐 Highlight any cross-channel experience (eCommerce, retail, and wholesale) in your role descriptions, as the advert explicitly values exposure across all three trading channels.

5

🤝 Mention collaboration with logistics partners, warehouse teams, or suppliers by name or scale (e.g. '3 third-party logistics providers') — the advert stresses seamless coordination as a differentiator for this role.

1Question

Tell me about a time you identified a stock risk early and the steps you took to mitigate it.

Situation: During a peak trading period at my previous employer, I noticed through weekly sell-through reporting that one of our top wholesale partners was tracking 30% below forecast on a core running vest line. Task: I needed to assess whether this was a demand issue or a stock availability problem and act quickly to protect revenue. Action: I pulled a detailed stock and intake analysis, identified that a delayed shipment had left the partner with only 40% of their allocated units. I escalated to the logistics team, arranged an emergency partial delivery from warehouse reserve stock, and updated the intake schedule to reflect the revised timeline. Result: The partner received stock within five days, recovered to 88% sell-through by end of season, and we avoided a markdown on 600 units.
2Question

Give an example of when your analysis directly influenced a commercial decision, such as a rebuy or range change.

Situation: Ahead of a mid-season rebuy meeting, I was asked to review performance across a 150-SKU activewear range. Task: My goal was to identify which lines warranted additional investment and which should be exited. Action: I built a post-buy analysis comparing sell-through rates, margin contribution, and stock cover across all SKUs, segmenting by channel — eCommerce, retail, and wholesale. I presented findings showing that 3 colourways in the leggings category were driving 42% of total revenue but were at risk of stockout within three weeks. Result: The buying team approved a targeted rebuy of 1,800 units on those colourways, generating an additional £26,000 in wholesale revenue before the season closed.
