This Teaching Assistant role is particularly suited to Psychology graduates who want to gain meaningful classroom experience before progressing into teacher training, Educational Psychology or other specialist education roles. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with pupils requiring additional support, helping them succeed both academically and socially.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work across a range of primary year groups, supporting whole-class learning, delivering interventions and working 1:1 with pupils who have SEND. Every Teaching Assistant day offers the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop valuable classroom skills.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

• Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as a Teaching Assistant
• Delivering interventions and small group sessions as a Teaching Assistant
• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and additional learning needs
• Building positive relationships with children and staff
• Encouraging confidence, resilience and engagement
• Working as part of a supportive school team as a Teaching Assistant
