Our tips for applying
5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.
⭐ Lead your CV personal statement with your valid UK driving licence status and confirm fewer than 3 penalty points — Tesco lists this as a hard requirement.
📊 Quantify your delivery experience: "Completed 20+ doorstep deliveries per shift across 15-mile radius with zero missed time slots over 6 months."
🎯 Highlight any experience handling customer complaints or order changes at the doorstep, as the advert specifically calls out substitutions and refunds communication.
🤝 Reference experience working independently on the road while remaining accountable to a base team — the advert stresses solo working with back-base support structure.
🚐 Include any van or LGV driving experience and note vehicle check routines (pre-drive walkaround, tyre/light checks) as the advert explicitly requires roadworthy inspection responsibility.

I hold a full UK driving licence with no penalty points and have hands-on experience completing time-critical deliveries while maintaining a professional, friendly manner at every doorstep.
My background in customer-facing delivery roles has equipped me with the ability to handle order substitutions and communicate changes clearly to customers, carry out thorough pre-drive vehicle safety checks, and load vans efficiently to protect every order in transit. I am comfortable working independently on the road while staying accountable to a base team.
