Aperçu — adapté à Tesco
Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco's reputation for putting customers first is precisely why the Customer Delivery Driver role at Peterborough Extra appeals to me. I hold a valid full UK driving licence with well under three penalty points and have hands-on experience completing multi-drop deliveries on time, handling order discrepancies calmly, and leaving customers satisfied at the doorstep — all skills your advert highlights as central to the role.
My background in customer-facing delivery work has equipped me with strong route awareness, thorough pre-drive vehicle check habits, and the ability to communicate substitutions or short-dated items clearly and reassuringly. I am comfortable working independently across varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, and I understand the importance of treating every order with the same care I would want for my own shopping.
