Dear Hiring Manager,
Reeson Education's KS1 SEN Teacher vacancy at a Central London specialist school stands out precisely because of its focus on ASD and SLD within a sensory curriculum framework — two areas that sit at the heart of my teaching practice. The settled class environment and the expectation to line-manage HLTA and TA staff align closely with the work I have been doing in specialist provision.
My background in SEN teaching includes delivering personalised, sensory-based learning to KS1 pupils with ASD and SLD, conducting SEND profile updates, and contributing to intervention reviews with measurable outcomes. I have collaborated closely with SENDCOs to refine provision and have mentored classroom support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across 1:1, small group, and whole-class settings.
