I nostri consigli per candidarsi

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Place your Class 2 licence and Driver CPC card numbers prominently in your CV header or personal statement, as these are the two hard requirements listed at the top of the advert.

2

📊 Quantify your multi-drop experience: e.g. 'Completed 18-25 multi-drop deliveries per shift across 6 postcodes, maintaining a 99% on-time delivery rate.'

3

🌐 Highlight any temperature-controlled or chilled/frozen food delivery experience explicitly — the advert flags this as preferred, so naming it will lift your ATS score.

4

🎯 Mention handball and cage-moving experience in a dedicated 'Key Skills' or 'Driving Profile' section, as the advert stresses the physical, manual nature of the role multiple times.

5

🤝 Include a brief line on customer-facing delivery experience (e.g. delivering to retail stores, obtaining signatures, resolving delivery queries), as the advert specifically calls out 'excellent customer service' as a requirement.

I hold a valid Class 2 licence and a current Driver CPC card, and I bring hands-on experience of multi-drop delivery routes including handball and cage movement at retail delivery points.

My background in Class 2 driving includes completing up to 20 multi-drop deliveries per shift, maintaining full tachograph compliance, and conducting thorough pre-departure vehicle checks. I have experience working with temperature-controlled loads and am comfortable with the physical demands of handballing caged goods in varied weather conditions. I take pride in delivering a professional, courteous service to every retailer on my route.

1Question

Tell me about a time you had to deal with a dissatisfied retailer or customer during a delivery. What did you do?

Situation: During a morning multi-drop route, I arrived at a convenience store 40 minutes later than the retailer's expected window due to a road closure. The store manager was frustrated as his staff were waiting to restock shelves before opening. Task: I needed to resolve the tension quickly and still complete the delivery safely and accurately. Action: I apologised clearly, explained the road closure without making excuses, and prioritised unloading his caged goods first before completing my paperwork. I also radioed my depot to log the delay formally. Result: The manager thanked me for the explanation and efficient unloading. I received positive feedback via the depot's delivery log, and the account had no further complaints over the following six months.
2Question

Describe a time when your route or schedule changed unexpectedly mid-shift. How did you prioritise and manage your remaining drops?

Situation: Midway through a 19-drop PM shift, I received a call from the transport office advising that two additional drops had been added due to a colleague's vehicle breakdown. Task: I had to absorb the extra stops without breaching my drivers' hours limit or missing the final delivery curfew. Action: I pulled over safely, reviewed my tachograph remaining time, and reorganised my remaining drops geographically using the sat-nav to find the most efficient sequence. I contacted the two new retailers to give revised ETAs. Result: I completed all 21 drops within my legal hours window, finishing 15 minutes before the depot's cut-off, and both additional retailers confirmed goods arrived in good condition.
