Unsere Tipps für Ihre Bewerbung

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Place your QTS qualification and EWC Registration prominently in your CV header or professional profile, as both are listed as explicit requirements in the advert.

2

📊 Quantify your classroom impact: e.g. 'Raised reading attainment for 28 KS2 pupils by 1.5 sub-levels over one academic year using targeted guided reading sessions.'

3

🌐 Explicitly reference the Curriculum for Wales in your CV experience section, as this school operates under Welsh curriculum requirements — not the English National Curriculum.

4

🎯 Highlight your safeguarding training and DBS status in a dedicated 'Compliance & Clearances' section, as Teaching Personnel places strong emphasis on DfE 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' standards.

5

🤝 Include a bullet point demonstrating collaborative working with Teaching Assistants and parents, as the advert specifically calls out these relationships as part of the role's responsibilities.

Aperçu — adapté à Teaching Personnel

Dear Hiring Manager,

Teaching Personnel's KS2 Teacher vacancy at a primary school in Barry is a role I am well placed to fulfil. With Qualified Teacher Status and current EWC Registration, I bring hands-on experience planning and delivering lessons aligned to the Curriculum for Wales, alongside a strong track record of assessing and monitoring pupil progress across mixed-ability KS2 classes.

My background in primary education includes full class responsibility for Year 5 and Year 6 cohorts, where I developed differentiated lesson plans that supported pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. I have worked closely with Teaching Assistants and maintained open communication with parents and school leaders to ensure every child received the support they needed to thrive.

1Question

Tell me about a time you identified a pupil who was struggling academically and describe the steps you took to support them.

Situation: Midway through the autumn term, I noticed a Year 4 pupil consistently scoring below 60% on weekly maths assessments and becoming withdrawn during group tasks. Task: As their class teacher, it was my responsibility to investigate and put targeted support in place. Action: I reviewed three terms of prior attainment data, met with the SENCO, and introduced a 15-minute daily numeracy intervention using concrete manipulatives. I also updated the pupil's parents fortnightly with written progress notes. Result: By the end of the spring term, the pupil's maths score had risen to 74% and they were actively participating in group problem-solving activities, which the SENCO noted in their end-of-year review.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to adapt a lesson plan at short notice — what did you do and what was the outcome?

Situation: On the morning of a planned science investigation, the school's equipment cupboard was found to have been double-booked by another year group, leaving me without materials for a class of 29 Year 5 pupils. Task: I needed to deliver a meaningful 60-minute science lesson with no specialist resources available. Action: I pivoted to a hypothesis-and-discussion lesson using everyday classroom objects, structuring the session around the same learning objective — understanding forces — through a peer-debate format. I produced a quick whiteboard scaffold to guide group reasoning. Result: Pupil engagement was high throughout, and 26 of 29 pupils correctly articulated the concept of friction in their exit tickets, matching the success rate from the original planned activity.
