Unsere Tipps für Ihre Bewerbung

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Lead your CV with your valid UK driving licence details (full/automatic, years held, penalty points) as the advert lists this as a hard requirement.

2

📊 Quantify your delivery experience: e.g. 'Completed 25+ doorstep deliveries per shift with a 98% on-time rate across a 40-mile radius.'

3

🚐 Highlight any previous van or multi-drop delivery experience explicitly, as the role involves loading, vehicle checks and timed routes.

4

🤝 Include a brief example of handling a difficult customer interaction calmly — the advert specifically mentions communicating substitutions and short-dated items at the doorstep.

5

🎯 Mention availability that matches the advertised windows (Tuesday/Thursday evenings, Friday–Saturday afternoons/evenings) to show you are a practical fit from day one.

Exemples de réponses STAR

Réponses modèles avec la méthode Situation-Tâche-Action-Résultat. À adapter à votre vécu.

1Question

Tell me about a time you delivered excellent customer service under time pressure.

Situation: During a busy Saturday shift at a supermarket delivery job, I had 26 drops to complete in 6 hours and one customer called to say they urgently needed their order early for a family event. Task: I needed to reorganise my route without causing late deliveries for other customers. Action: I reprioritised the route using the onboard system, brought that delivery forward by 40 minutes, and called ahead to two other customers to give them an updated arrival window. Result: All 26 deliveries were completed within their slots, the urgent customer left a 5-star feedback comment, and my manager highlighted the shift as a best-practice example at the next team briefing.
2Question

Give an example of when you had to communicate difficult news to a customer and how you handled it.

Situation: Arriving at a customer's door, I discovered that 4 items in their weekly shop had been substituted with different brands and one item was short-dated by two days. Task: I needed to explain the changes clearly and maintain a positive experience. Action: I calmly walked the customer through each substitution, explained the short-dated item and immediately processed a refund of £3.60 on the spot using the handheld device, offering a brief apology without making it awkward. Result: The customer thanked me personally and mentioned they had nearly cancelled their subscription — they renewed it the following week, which my team leader noted when reviewing customer retention scores.
