⭐ Lead your CV Personal Statement with your valid UK driving licence status and clean (or near-clean) record, as the advert explicitly requires no more than 3 penalty points and at least 12 months' licence holding.
📊 Quantify your delivery experience: e.g. 'Completed 25+ customer drops per shift across a 40-mile radius with a 98% on-time delivery rate' to stand out against other applicants.
🌐 Highlight any previous customer-facing roles where you handled complaints, substitutions or refunds, as the advert specifically calls out reassuring customers about order changes.

Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco's reputation for putting customers first is exactly the environment in which I thrive, which is why the Customer Delivery Driver role at Bradley Stoke Extra appeals to me directly. I hold a valid full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and over 12 months' driving history, and I have hands-on experience conducting pre-drive vehicle safety checks and managing safe van loading on multi-drop routes.
My background in customer-facing delivery work has equipped me to handle order substitutions and short-dated items with clarity and reassurance, keeping customers informed and satisfied at the doorstep. I consistently meet tight time slots across evening shifts, and I understand the importance of treating every order with the same care I would expect myself.
