Our tips for applying
5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.
⭐ Highlight your valid UK driving licence prominently at the top of your CV — the advert lists this as the sole hard requirement, so make licence type and years held immediately visible.
📊 Quantify your delivery experience: e.g. 'Completed 25+ customer drops per shift across a 40-mile radius with a 99% on-time delivery rate' to stand out from applicants with no metrics.
🎯 Tailor your personal statement to reference doorstep customer interaction specifically — the advert stresses 'warm, natural service at the doorstep', so mirror that language with a concrete example.
🤝 Include any experience handling complaints, substitutions, or order discrepancies — the advert explicitly calls out communicating order changes and processing refunds as a core duty.
🚐 Mention any vehicle safety or pre-use check experience (e.g. daily walk-around checks, load securing) as the advert requires drivers to complete roadworthy checks before every shift.

Aperçu — adapté à Tesco
Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco's reputation for putting customers at the heart of every interaction is precisely why the Customer Delivery Driver role at Coatbridge Extra appeals to me. With a clean UK driving licence held for over three years and hands-on experience in customer-facing delivery work, I am confident I can represent Tesco professionally at every doorstep, handle order substitutions clearly, and complete all pre-drive vehicle safety checks to keep the van roadworthy and reliable.
My background in delivery and customer service has equipped me to manage a full round of timed drops independently, communicate calmly with customers about missing or substituted items, and load vehicles efficiently to protect every order in transit. I consistently meet tight time slots while maintaining the warm, natural service standard that keeps customers coming back.
