Dear Hiring Manager,
Specsavers' reputation for patient-centred eyecare and its strong community presence in Harrow make this Optical Assistant role a natural next step for me. Having worked in an opticians environment where optical terminology, frame dispensing, and delivering a welcoming customer experience were daily priorities, I am confident I can contribute from day one.
My background in optical retail has equipped me with hands-on experience advising customers on lens and frame selection, handling a high volume of patient interactions, and supporting a close-knit store team. I have worked across 32–40 hour weeks including weekends, so I am fully comfortable with the schedule this role requires.
