I nostri consigli per candidarsi

5 recommandations générées par notre IA pour maximiser vos chances.

1

⭐ Place your QTS qualification prominently at the top of your CV under your Personal Statement, as the advert lists it as a hard requirement and screeners will filter on it immediately.

2

📊 Quantify your classroom impact: e.g. "Raised reading attainment for 28 Year 2 pupils by 1.5 sub-levels over one academic year" to stand out against other applicants.

3

🎯 Specify which key stages you have taught (EYFS, KS1, KS2) in your work history section, as the advert explicitly asks for experience across these phases.

4

🛡️ Include your enhanced DBS certificate date and confirm it is on the Update Service, as Teaching Personnel requires this before placement and it signals readiness to start in September.

5

🤝 Highlight any experience working with SEND or mixed-ability classes, as the advert emphasises adapting teaching to a range of learning needs and inclusive school environments.

1Question

Tell me about a time you managed a particularly challenging behaviour in your classroom and what the outcome was.

Situation: In my Year 4 class, one pupil was regularly disrupting lessons through verbal outbursts, affecting the learning of 29 other children. Task: I needed to address this without excluding the pupil or escalating to senior leadership unnecessarily. Action: I introduced a personalised behaviour chart with the pupil, agreed three clear classroom expectations together, and gave a daily two-minute check-in before lessons. I also liaised with the SENCO to explore underlying triggers. Result: Within four weeks, recorded incidents dropped from roughly 10 per week to 2. The pupil remained in class full-time, and end-of-term attainment showed a half-level improvement in writing.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to adapt a lesson plan at short notice to meet the needs of your pupils.

Situation: Midway through a KS2 maths lesson on fractions, I realised that 18 of 27 pupils had not secured the prerequisite understanding of equivalent fractions from the previous week. Task: Continuing with the planned lesson would have left the majority behind. Action: I paused, restructured the session into two groups — a guided group with me using concrete manipulatives, and an independent group consolidating prior learning via a differentiated worksheet I adapted on the spot. Result: A follow-up exit ticket showed 22 out of 27 pupils could correctly identify equivalent fractions, and the planned lesson was successfully delivered the following day with minimal reteaching needed.
